Far-right Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) was notorious for promoting QAnon conspiracy theories before being elected to Congress, even sharing content that blamed wildfires in the West on Jewish space lasers. She has since tried to walk back that support, claiming she was misled by "the internet" into believing conspiracy theories.
But she apparently isn't quite willing to abandon QAnon entirely, reported The Daily Beast, as she goes to a show catering to the movement in order to promote her new book.
"Greene appeared to be aware of her target audience as she spoke on the X22 Report — a show whose wild conspiracy theorizing has reportedly been linked to an act of real-world violence — telling listeners that her book detailed her visits with jailed Capitol insurrections and how she objected to Joe Biden’s Electoral College votes," reported Josh Fiallo. "The appearance seemingly cements a Greene flip-flop on the QAnon movement, which she publicly disavowed only as she faced a vote to be removed from committee assignments, which largely centered around her repeated sharing of QAnon-related theories."

In particular, she disavowed QAnon claims that mass shootings were staged with crisis actors, saying, "School shootings are absolutely real and every child that is lost, those families mourn it."
The QAnon movement comes in a number of flavors, but most of its adherents believe the U.S. is controlled by child-trafficking cannibal Satanists, and Trump is secretly working to bring the network down. The FBI has identified it as a potential source of domestic terror radicalization.
Greene's book, "MTG," has already come under criticism for a number of disputed claims, including the assertion that no Democrats moved to protect the House or fellow members during the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.
