Former President Donald Trump's allies are not happy with longtime loyalist and former White House counselor Kellyanne Conway.

NOTUS reports that recent revelations about Conway registering as a foreign agent representing the foundation of Ukrainian billionaire Victor Pinchuk are not playing well among Trump's allies.

This has especially been the case after Conway lobbied against picking Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH), long a critic of aiding Ukraine in its war against Russia, as Trump's vice presidential nominee.

"She’s been pushing Trump to bring her back in and, meanwhile, she’s getting paid by the Ukrainians,” one source, described as an "informal" Trump adviser, told NOTUS. “Basically, it’s a hostile takeover attempt by the Ukrainian government.”

The adviser went on to say that Conway appeared willing to "sell out the entire movement for $50,000 a month" and added that "there’s no way that Trump can keep her around when she’s that much of a liability” because “he’s going to have to wonder, ‘Is this Kellyanne Conway talking or is this Zelenskyy.'"

Another source close to Trump claimed that the former president benefited from keeping Conway out of his inner circle because she was so liable to leak dirt to reporters.

“The president has kept her at arm’s length since she left the White House, and the leaks immediately slowed down,” the source claimed. “She can post on Twitter about how important she is, but Trump already didn’t listen to her much, and this is the final nail in the coffin.”

Other recent reports have claimed that Trump allies suspect that Conway has been "badmouthing" Vance after her efforts to get Trump to pick Sen. Marco Rubio as his vice president candidate (R-FL) were derailed.
