Rosie O’Donnell shared that she missed her daughter's college graduation over her ongoing fight with President Donald Trump.

In an interview with the No Filter Podcast, she revealed that the nearly 20-year battle with the president has impacted her personal life, Daily Beast reports.

“My daughter graduated from college, and I didn’t go back because the security people said to me they didn’t think it was wise,” O’Donnell said.

She shared that she thinks Trump could use her as a pawn and "rile his base."

Trump has previously threatened revoking her citizenship, writing the threat on his Truth Social platform.

“Because of the fact that Rosie O’Donnell is not in the best interests of our Great Country, I am giving serious consideration to taking away her Citizenship.”

And although the president cannot revoke her citizenship, according to experts, his anger toward the Hollywood star has made her a target for Trump supporters' attacks.

Trump has described women as "fat pigs," "dogs," "slobs," and "disgusting animals." When he was asked about it he responded, saying "Only Rosie O'Donnell," The Beast reports.

O'Donnell and Trump have feuded since at least 2006, when O'Donnell criticized Trump on a daytime talk show, according to People.

O'Donnell has lived in Ireland since early 2025. She said that she moved there after his reelection because his first term was "detrimental to her mental health."
