Donald Trump is losing his cool as rumors circulate he never got shot, onlookers say.

Trump's recent Truth Social tantrum over Federal Bureau of Investigation head Christopher Wray's testimony — specifically that the source of his ear wound remains unknown — spurred much laughter on social media Friday.

"Oh boy," wrote Talking Points Memo founder John Marshall. "Someone’s big mad about their story falling apart."

Wray infuriated Trump Thursday when he told Congress the FBI investigation had yet to reveal whether a bullet or shrapnel left Trump bloodied during the Butler, Pa., shooting on July 13.

"A bullet that hit my ear, and hit it hard," Trump wrote about 9:50 p.m. Eastern time. "There was no glass, there was no shrapnel. The hospital called it a 'bullet wound to the ear,' and that is what it was."

Trump has yet to release medical records of his treatment at Butler Memorial Hospital nor have those doctors been made available for questions, Time Magazine reports.

Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX), the former White House doctor accused of running a pill mill from the executive mansion, backed Trump's claim that he was hit by a bullet.

Critics such as Keith Olbermann noted Jackson has no medical license in several states.

This may be why many Friday were unconvinced by Trump's claim that he was certainly shot by a bullet.

"I’m not moving on from this," wrote Andrea Junker. "The American people have a right to know if Trump’s claim of being hit by a bullet was a lie. — If so, we demand daily front-page stories about Trump’s fake gunshot wound until Election Day."

"Even for a conman sociopath and pathological liar like Trump, this is pathetic," wrote musician Bill Madden. "The American people deserve the truth about his injury."

"I've waited a while to say this but the burden is now on Trump to show he was shot," wrote CNN analyst Juliette Kayyem Friday. "I can condemn the assassination and still demand truth, especially since Trump is now politicizing taking a bullet.
