A Ring doorbell cam appeared to capture the dramatic moment a mid-size jet crashed into a building near a Philadelphia mall, sending a plume of smoke into the air and confusing homeowners scrambling for safety.

The footage began making its rounds on social media and network television moments after what is believed to be a mid-size jet plummeted from the sky and into a “high traffic” area, according to media reports. Officials said Friday night that several buildings were "impacted."

The new doorbell clip shows two individuals casually walking out of a front door while an object in the sky appears in the background and is seen falling straight down before a large explosion and fireball are visible. The video also appears to capture audio of a significant boom, as well as the homeowners’ screams.

The incident in Philadelphia comes as the nation is still reeling from Wednesday night’s midair collision over Washington D.C. involving a Blackhawk helicopter colliding midair with an American Airlines regional jet, claiming all 67 lives on board.

The FAA initially said that two people were on the plane in Philadelphia, CNN reported. That number was later updated to six people. Multiple victims were reported.
