QAnon congresswoman declares LGBTQ rainbow flag a 'hate' symbol -- and wants it banned at embassies

QAnon-supporting Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) this week declared that the LGBTQ rainbow flag is a "hate" symbol that she wants to see banned from being flown at American embassies.

Shortly after being confirmed by the United States Senate last month, Secretary of State Tony Blinken rescinded a Trump administration order that barred embassies from flying the rainbow flag in solidarity with the LGBTQ community.

LGBTQ Nation reports that, in a statement released on Monday, Greene decried the rainbow flag as a "Hate America Flag" and announced that she was cosponsoring legislation aimed at restoring the Trump administration's ban.

"Only the Stars and Stripes should fly over our embassies in foreign countries," Greene said. "President Biden's State Department has already raised a flag over our embassies that doesn't represent the vast majority of Americans."

Greene then made a rambling statement about the Black Lives Matter movement being a "Marxist" organization filled with "domestic terrorists" that seeks to "erase our history and bring mass destruction to our country through Communism."
