Rep. Susan Lynn. (Tennessee House session footage)
On Wednesday, as President Donald Trump prepared to leave office, a Tennessee Republican state lawmaker stood to request a moment of silence for the outgoing president in his "retirement from public service."
State Rep. Susan Lynn made the request after GOP caucus chairman Jeremy Faison led the House in a prayer for President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris.
Lynn has pushed the QAnon conspiracy theory, which claims Trump has been waging a war against a secret cabal of child-molesting, Satanic cannibals who control America. She has plastered Q iconography on her social media, including its slogan, "Where we go one, we go all," although she has denied knowing it was associated with the movement.
