Killed Hollywood legend Rob Reiner and his wife Michele Singer were seen in a heated argument with their son at Conan O'Brien's Christmas party the night before they were found stabbed to death, TMZ reported Monday.

Reiner, his wife and son, Nick Reiner, were reportedly at the party Saturday when they got into a "very loud argument," a family source told the outlet.

Los Angeles Police Department officials announced early Monday that the couple's 32-year-old son was taken into custody and booked on suspicion of murder, according to records. His bail was set at $4 million.

The killings are being investigated as homicide, LAPD stated.

The couple was found dead at their home Sunday afternoon in Brentwood, California. Reiner was 78, and his wife was 68.

“It is with profound sorrow that we announce the tragic passing of Michele and Rob Reiner. We are heartbroken by this sudden loss, and we ask for privacy during this unbelievably difficult time,” Reiner's family said in a statement.
