Donald Trump's weekend threat of a "bloodbath" if he is not re-elected in November received the bulk of attention from the press and critics, but on Monday morning the panel on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" also made note of his attacks on immigrants and their children.
Speaking in Ohio before a crowd of his rabid fans, the former president ranted about immigrants, stating, "I don’t know if you call them people. In some cases, they’re not people in my opinion. But I’m not allowed to say that because the radical left says that’s a terrible thing to say.”
Noting the former president previously claimed, "They let — I think the real number is 15, 16 million people into our country. When they do that, we got a lot of work to do. They’re poisoning the blood of our country,” Morning Joe co-host Joe Scarborough pointedly remarked that four out of five of Trump's children are the product of his marriages to immigrants Ivana Trump (Don Trump Jr., Ivanka and Eric) and Melania Trump (Barron).
Trump's fifth child, Tiffany, came from his union with Marla Maples. She recently married Lebanese businessman Michael Boulos.

Addressing Trump's Hitler-like bashing of immigrants, MSNBC host Rev. Al Sharpton told the panel, "You may disagree with the policy, but to make people less than human is exactly the kinds of things that Blacks went through in America; being called three-fifths of a man. We're now dealing with different policies based on those that are on the right that want to do it for different strokes for different folks."
"I'd remind Donald Trump, his own in-laws were immigrants that had to be brought into citizenship," he continued. " So what makes their blood different than somebody's blood from South America that may be seeking a better life and we need to have a policy that would not have them come in a way that would be contrary to our view."
"But clearly, we can't act like their blood is poisonous," he added.
"Reverend, if I'm not mistaken, one, two, three, four of his five children are children of immigrants," host Scarborough said and he counted off on his fingers. "Four of his five children are children of immigrants. I don't get it. So did they poison the blood of America when they came here? Are his children poisoning the blood?"
"How would he feel if politicians were saying his children and his wives poisoned the blood of America?" the MSNBC host proposed.
"By his definition, he participated in that, by his own definition. I mean, this is absolutely offensive beyond politics," Sharpton agreed.
