Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who recently filed for bankruptcy, said he would refuse a job as Donald Trump's next vice president.

Giuliani made the remarks on his Sunday radio show after co-host Maria Ryan claimed listeners wanted him to take the VP job.

"A lot of people have written in Rudy Giuliani for VP," she insisted.

"Nope," Giuliani replied without giving a reason.

"I told you, I like Ben Carson," he added, struggling to think of other names.

He agreed with Ryan and said that Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) would be a "good choice."

Giuliani wasn't as open when it came to Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL).

"You'd have to talk me into it, but only on personal issues because of the disloyalty, but on substance, no question," he remarked. "Could he be president? And the others, yes."

"There are a whole bunch of others," the former mayor added. "I'm sorry I'm leaving them out."
