Jeremy Saland, former assistant Manhattan DA, who now works as a defense attorney, said that Donald Trump's lawyers are likely terrified of any possible outbursts and ragegasms the former president could unleash in a courtroom.

"His counsel is probably petrified," he explained in a discussion Monday night on MSNBC's All In with Chris Hayes. "They must be frightened that he will lose control, and they don't want to see that happen in the courtroom. He thrives off that chaos, but when he's the center of that chaos, that doesn't work for him. It's manipulating others that is."
