Federal agents involved in driver shooting in Minneapolis

Federal agents were reportedly involved in a shooting in Minneapolis Wednesday morning where a driver was shot inside a vehicle, according to reports.

The incident happened in the area of South Minneapolis and a group of ICE agents were in the area, Reuters reported. Border Patrol commander Greg Bovino and ICE agents were at the scene of the shooting.

"We are aware of a shooting involving federal law enforcement near East 34th Street and Portland Avenue. Please avoid this area," the city of Minneapolis posted on X.

The driver's condition was not immediately known.
