'You're an idiot!' Steve Bannon loses cool at Sean Hannity for asking if Trump is dictator

Right-wing MAGA podcaster Steve Bannon lashed out at Fox News host Sean Hannity after he asked former President Donald Trump if he would be a "dictator" if re-elected.

The question came during a Tuesday town hall on Fox News.

"You are promising America tonight you would never abuse power as retribution against anybody?" Hannity asked.

"Except for Day One," Trump vowed.

On Wednesday, Bannon suggested Hannity had made an unforced error by asking the question.

"Sean Hannity actually thought he was helping Trump last night," Bannon said. "Let me ask you a question, will you be a dictator?"

"You're an idiot," he continued. "And we don't have time for idiots, bro. This is a war, OK? This is a war. We don't have time for sunshine patriots in this nonsense, and don't carry the water for the Murdochs and don't carry the water for the left."

Bannon called Hannity's question "disgusting."

"How dumb are you?" he asked. "This is war, and you're just not good enough; you're just not smart enough."
