A fiery spokesman for President Donald Trump took a profane victory lap on social media Tuesday evening as news broke that ABC News fired journalist Terry Moran following a controversial post in which he harshly criticized Trump and his deputy chief of staff, Stephen Miller.

In a since-deleted post on the platform X, Moran, a senior national correspondent, called Miller a "world-class hater."

"The thing about Stephen Miller is not that he is the brains behind Trumpism," wrote Moran. "Yes, he is one of the people who conceptualizes the impulses of the Trumpist movement and translates them into policy. But that's not what's interesting about Miller. It's not the brains. It's the bile. Miller is a man who is richly endowed with the capacity for hatred. He's a world-class hater."

ABC News suspended Moran, asserting it "stands for objectivity and impartiality in its news coverage and does not condone subjective personal attacks on others."

"The post does not reflect the views of ABC News and violated our standards — as a result, Terry Moran has been suspended pending further evaluation," the network said Sunday.

On Tuesday, the network went a step further, firing Moran.

"We are at the end of our agreement with Terry Moran and based on his recent post – which was a clear violation of ABC News policies – we have made the decision to not renew," an ABC spokesperson told CNN media analyst Brian Stelter.

The spokesperson added: "At ABC News, we hold all of our reporters to the highest standards of objectivity, fairness and professionalism, and we remain committed to delivering straightforward, trusted journalism."

Steven Cheung, a spokesman for Trump known for his blistering statements, cheered the move on X in a profane post.

"Talk s---, get hit," he wrote.

Critics slammed ABC News for the move.

"Absolutely disgraceful," railed the popular Republicans against Trump account on X.

Democratic strategist Jon Cooper‪ wrote on Bluesky, "ABC News has cut ties with its senior national correspondent Terry Moran after he posted that Stephen Miller is a 'world-class hater' who 'eats his hate.' Kudos to Moran for having the courage to speak the truth — and screw ABC News for not standing behind him and backing his right to free speech."

"The same people who shoveled money to a settle bogus case with Trump, have now fired Terry Moran for telling the truth. No one should wonder why viewers are abandoning legacy media in droves," railed voting rights advocate Marc Elias on Bluesky.

Kentucky writer Teri Carter‪ wrote on Bluesky, "Terry Moran has guts. Here’s to more reporters who understand the moment and find their spines."

The popular JoJoFromJerz‪ account wrote, "I stand with Terry Moran."

"They fired Terry Moran from Abc after he said Stephen Miller was a world class hater. I realize ABC sold out to Trump awhile ago this is a sign of how bad it is," lamented longtime social worker Meridith Bolster.
