President Donald Trump may have blown out his microphone while yelling during his State of the Union address, according to a report.
"Trump raised his voice so much as he introduced the hockey team that it appeared to blow out the microphone in front of him," Chris Cameron of The New York Times reported. "The feed carried to CNN, MS Now and Fox News had garbled audio as he introduced the team."
Trump became animated during the speech while discussing the accomplishments of the USA men's hockey team during the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan, Italy. The men's hockey team won the gold medal against Canada in a thrilling overtime game.
