In a post to Truth Social this Thursday, former President Donald Trump took a shot at former attorney general from his administration Bill Barr, who's made critical comments about the former president in recent media appearances.

Trump wrote that he wanted to have Joe Biden's now-infamous son, Hunter Biden, investigated during his time as president, but Barr just simply was not interested.

"A very interesting situation is taking place," Trump wrote on his own social media platform. "While I was in office, Bill Barr, as Attorney General, was very slow & unenthusiastic about going after Joe & Hunter Biden regarding their possible criminal activity."

Trump then wrote that it was hard getting Barr "to move" on launching an investigation, "but I always felt he believed you just don’t go after Presidents, V.P.’s, & Presidential Candidates very cavalierly."

"I understood that, & was sort of OK with it. Now Biden thugs want to indict me, for NOTHING!" Trump wrote, attempting to draw a parallel between his own personal legal troubles.
