All of the co-hosts on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" expressed concern about Donald Trump's mental state after watching clips of the former president speaking with Fox News personality Sean Hannity late Thursday night.
In the rambling interview, the embattled Trump once again made a pitch for total immunity and then went on to talk about former President Barack Obama, which baffled co-host Joe Scarborough who commented, "Trump is not well."
"Let's start with the fact that Donald Trump is not well," Scarborough told co-hosts Mika Brzezinski and Willie Geist. "We know this. This guy, he is looking so old, he is shuffling around. He really does think that Barack Obama is still president of the United States. He's going through this thing and then about why he should have total immunity. Total immunity even when he crosses the line, right?"
"It is Trump at his most dangerous, but also Trump at his most detached from reality," he later continued. "He is really losing it. We've been getting glimpses now of him shuffling around and looking lost and getting up on stage talking about World War II, talking about President Obama. Here, he did it again and said, 'Listen, President Obama may have bombed kindergartens, but he was trying to do good things. When he leaves office he could face a conviction. It's crazy."
