President Donald Trump was apparently running late to a speech with technology leaders at the White House on Wednesday, while the group of people awaiting his arrival was seen squirming.

Trump was speaking about jobs in AI, cryptocurrency, and other growing fields with the group as the Trump administration has been considering how to develop new rules and regulations around digital assets.

He apparently kept multiple executives and financial regulators waiting for nearly 30 minutes, independent journalist Aaron Rupar reported, sharing a clip from the awkward and restless moment.

"Trump, running late, is making these people uncomfortably fidget around while they stand around," Rupar wrote in a post on X.
