During an appearance on MSNBC's "Morning Joe," former George W. Bush speechwriter Elise Jordan expressed disgust with Donald Trump for featuring a speaker at his Green Bay rally who has a history of sending unwanted sexual texts and explicit photos to women.

Speaking with co-host Mika Brzezinski and panelist Molly Jong-Fast about the former president's boast that he is a "protector of women," before adding ominously "whether the women like it or not," on Wednesday night, Jordan noted that former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre also spoke.

Jordan then noted that Favre, who has been dogged by controversy since his retirement, has a reputation as a "sexter" that led to a $50,000 fine from the NFL in 2010 and another sexual harassment settlement with two women in 2023.

After discussing the number of "Dobbs dads" who will be heading to the polls to vote against Trump due to his part in getting Roe v. Wade overturned, Jordan asked if she could address the Green Bay rally.

"Can I just say one thing, Mika?" she asked host Brzezinski. "The audacity of Donald Trump to get up on stage in Wisconsin with Brett Favre, who is Mr. Sexter? Disgusting!"

"That's the kind of man we want to be protected from," she added.
