Wide praise for President Joe Biden's State of the Union address seems to have gotten under the skin of Donald Trump, who took to his Truth Social account to rage at the current president.

Late Thursday night, the former president praised Alabama Republican Sen. Katie Britt's SOTU response, which led to immediate blowback from his supporters, and on Friday morning he launched his own attack on Biden's speech.

On Friday morning, MSNBC "Morning Joe" host Joe Scarborough was effusive in his praise about the speech, telling his panel, "I mean, Democrats certainly, if there were any Democrats wavering, last night had to make them feel they're in really good shape," before later adding, "Last night, game, set, match to Joe Biden."

Add to that, MSNBC's Jonathan Lemire reported that Biden's campaign was deluged with a record amount of donations following the president's address, telling viewers, "They already walked into [Thursday] with a massive fundraising advantage over Donald Trump, who struggled to raise money. Also, because he had to devote so much of the money he's raised to his legal bills. Even prior to last night, Democrats feel great about the speech, they felt like they had a significant financial advantage. They're going to be able to bury Trump in ads."

After conservative Wall Street Journal columnist Peggy Noonan wrote that Biden "came in hot," while praising his, "pow pow pow" delivery, Trump pushed back on Friday morning.

"Biden’s speech last night is getting 'panned' all over the World," he wrote with out providing any links before adding, " Only the Radical Left lunatics are trying to make the best of it. It took him 41 minutes to talk, briefly, about Immigration and the Border, on the topic of which he was very weak. No talk of weaponization against his very calm and nice opponent."

"Angry as hell, this guy is a PSYCHO!" he insisted.
