President Donald Trump's make-up smeared hand stunned viewers Wednesday when they spotted a "gnarly" bruise underneath, a new report shows.
Trump couldn't hide the mark as he spoke with journalists on the tarmac in Washington, D.C. then later travelled to Georgia to push his problematic Trump Accounts program, the Daily Beast reported Thursday morning.
"Oh my [G]od," journalist Aaron Rupar wrote Wednesday. "Trump's hand is looking *awful* today."
Daily Beast reporter Cameron Adams described the bruise as "multicolored" and the hand as appearing "starkly different" from the other.
Adams also argued Trump, 80, only appeared older in contrast to the students he invited to stand beside him at Wheeler High School in Marietta.
"The bruising on his right hand was especially noticeable as he hugged a girl on stage," wrote Adams. "He has previously slathered concealer on the hand to hide the bruises."
The report notes two factors that could contribute to the bruise's appearance.
The first is that Trump admits to self-medicating with a high dose of aspirin despite the advice of his doctors, Adams wrote.
The second? His age.
Wrote Adams, "Trump has also developed a tendency to fall asleep during high-level meetings, regularly makes gaffes, and his repetition has caused a leading psychiatrist to question his fitness for office."
