Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign Wednesday lashed out at Donald Trump for platforming an extremist at an upcoming political event.
Kamala HQ shared information on X about the man Citizen Times reports will speak at Trump's North Carolina town hall campaign event moments before it was slated to begin at 4 p.m. ET.
Harris' campaign described the speaker as "a virulent misogynist, antisemite, and far-right MAGA extremist" then provided a thread of comments they argued "Donald Trump endorses."
Reports show the speaker has questioned women's right to vote, quoted Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler and called the Holocaust "hogwash," and called LGBTQ people "filth."
It is North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson.
Harris' campaign Wednesday pulled several quotes of Robinson sharing his political views and then provided an identical analysis of each.
"If I was governor, we would pass a bill that says you can't have an abortion in North Carolina right now for any reason," Robinson says. Writes the Harris campaign, "Trump endorses this."
