Taking time out from posting his polling numbers demonstrating his lead over his rivals for the Republican presidential nomination, Donald Trump issued an ominous warning to two Republican senators up for re-election next year.
On Truth Social, the former president singled out Sens Josh Hawley (R-MO) and Ted Cruz (R-TX) and noted that Democrats appear to be targeting them in the 2024 election.
Without getting into whether he thinks the two high-profile Republicans are vulnerable or whether the former president is setting the stage to later claim voting tampering, Trump wrote, "So interesting that the Democrats are looking hard at the Senate races in both Missouri and Texas. Josh and Ted must be very careful."
