House impeachment managers on Wednesday played never--before-seen security camera footage of the Capitol insurrection on the second days of Donald Trump's latest impeachment trial.
One of the videos showed Capitol Police Officer Eugene Goodman leading Sen. Mitt Romney (D-UT) to safety during the attack.
As CNN's Dan Merica pointed out, the video ads new depth to the glare Romney gave Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) after the attack.

Political scientist Larry Sabato, the director of U.Va's Center for Politics, said it was now impossible for Republican senators not to vote to convict Trump.
"Their goal was to assassinate VP Pence and @SpeakerPelosi . GOP Senators who don't convict are denying reality," he concluded.
