Former President Donald Trump was acquitted in his second impeachment trial on Saturday.

Only seven Republicans voted to convict Trump for inciting insurrection, while all Democrats voted to convict the former president.

The verdict came on the fifth day of the impeachment trial, which featured graphic videos of Trump supporters attacking the capitol in an attempt to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election.
