Attorney Jim Trusty seems to be completely ending his work for former President Donald Trump.

As flagged by Politico's Kyle Cheney, Trusty filed a motion this week with the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida in which he asked permission to withdraw as the attorney representing Trump in a lawsuit against CNN.

In the filing, Trusty said that the withdrawal "is based upon irreconcilable differences between" him and Trump, which he said left him unable to "effectively and properly represent" the former president.

Trusty abruptly quit serving as Trump's lawyer in the Mar-a-Lago documents case just one week ago, as his departure was announced shortly after it was confirmed that the former president would be indicted on 37 felony charges.

Trump has since struggled to find a new lawyer to replace Trusty, and many legal analysts have said his reputation as a difficult client and a man who often stiffs lawyers for his legal fees may be the major reason that other lawyers are reluctant to represent him.
