Reacting to clips of Donald Trump seemingly believing he is running against former President Barack Obama while slurring his words over the weekend led the co-hosts on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" to call him "sad" and question if something is wrong with him.
On Monday morning, co-host Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski seemed genuinely stunned at the former president's demeanor while addressing crowds after weekend primary wins.
After sharing the clip, Brzezinski immediately commented, "It's really sad."
Scarborough then pounced and pointed out the former president seemed to be having a series of "meltdowns' on top of everything else.

After Brzezinski stated, "Donald Trump over the weekend once again thinking he's running against Barack Obama. When Trump wasn't confusing Biden with Obama... He apparently thought he was Obama."
"I have to apologize to fat Elvis in '77" Scarborough offered. "Fat Elvis never slurred his words like Donald Trump did this weekend. And he looked — his face was contorted."
"Something was going on," Brzezinski suggested.
Her co-host later stated, "And, again, his mind just short-circuited there."
