Supporters of Donald Trump erupted in fury Friday after an Indian Republican state senator announced he would vote against the GOP’s redistricting plan – citing the president’s use of “r-----ed” to attack Democratic Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.

State Sen. Michael Bohacek, a Republican from a deep-red district, said in a Facebook post that he would be a “no” vote on the state’s 2026 redistricting package after Trump referred to Walz as “seriously r-----ed” in his Thanksgiving Day social media post. Bohacek, whose daughter has Down Syndrome, added: “words have consequences.”

But reaction across the MAGAverse was immediate – and sometimes vicious.

Conservative media personality Eric Daugherty, a Trump loyalist, blasted Bohacek as a “failure,” telling his followers on X that the senator “was caught DRUNK DRIVING 3 times the legal limit.”

“Michael Bohacek must be primaried NOW!” he added above a video purporting to be from the DWI incident.

Bohacek pleaded guilty in August to driving while intoxicated.

Another Trump supporter, X user Glory Bee, who says she's a former U.S. Senate staffer, wrote that Bohacek should be sent “to Minnesota to be with his hero Tim Walz!”

“He's not up for re-election until 2028, so unless he resigns, the state senate is stuck with him. The redistricting can be approved without his vote. Hopefully this all backfires on him,” she wrote.

Right-wing commentator Mike Cernovich, who has more than 1.4 million followers, attacked Bohacek as “an alcoholic and drunk driver.”

“This type of behavior is what leads to elected officials being under blackmail,” he wrote in an X post. “They get drunk and find themselves in compromising situations. He should resign on principle.”

Other MAGA influencers piled on, calling the senator a “fraud,” a “disgrace,” and “human debris.” Some also mocked him by repeating the slur Trump used.

“Drunk drivers and rigged districts go together like whiskey and bad ideas,” MAGA enthusiast @Arkadalo wrote on X.
