Give with your heart, not your ears.

Susie Wiles, a top GOP adviser to former President Donald Trump's third bid for the White House, made such a pitch to deep-pocketed mega donors at a ritzy and hush-hush mixer at Palm Beach, Florida's Four Seasons on Tuesday, according to CNBC. It reported she told people not to take the ex-president's words too seriously.

Her message to the powerful one-percenters huddling as part of the Paul Singer-led American Opportunity Alliance? Tune out Trump's divisive rhetoric.

Wiles made clear that the board is set for the frontrunner to become the Republican candidate to bring down Biden, the outlet reported citing sources privy to her statements.

Those hoping to retake the presidency should strap in, open their wallets, and also wear ear muffs to silence the hyperbole. That's because Wiles was saying that there are going to be things that come out of Trump's mouth on the stump that likely will offend people.

The full court press by Wiles to entreat new donors to get on the Trump train is almost a salve after Trump lobbed threats to those backing his Republican challenger in former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley.

In a Jan. 24 post on Truth Social, Trump put donors on notice.

Wiles' words likely were aimed directly at some of those who attended the exclusive gathering because they donated to Haley in the past, according to one attendee who spoke to CNBC.

She reportedly won over some of the American Opportunity Alliance members, with folks being seen after her speech requesting Wiles' contact information.

Trump continues to have a commanding lead in the Republican Primary polls with 73.4% after winning both the Iowa Caucus and the New Hampshire primary.

He's up about 30 percentage points in South Carolina where the two are expected to duke it out in the primary come Feb. 24.
