Hurricane Milton is barreling toward former President Donald Trump’s social media platform Truth Social, according to government records and a new report.

Trump Media's headquarters are on North Cattlemen Road in Sarasota, the coastal Florida city under a hurricane warning as the city implements limited evacuations and braces for towering storm surges, tropical winds and possible isolated tornadoes, financial filings, city records and National Weather Service reports show.

The former president does not own the office, which is not in an evacuation zone, and it is unclear how many people work in it, according to Fortune Magazine.

Milton, categorized as a Category 4 hurricane as of Tuesday afternoon with 145 mph winds, is predicted to hit land Wednesday night, forecasts show.

Mar-a-Lago, Trump's Palm Beach resort on the eastern coast of Florida, will likely not be in the storm's direct path, according to Fortune.

Even as local officials issued evacuations across the state and warned Florida residents their lives were at stake, Gov. Ron DeSantis refused to receive a call from Vice President Kamala Harris about how the federal government could help.

Truth Media stock was trading at about $20 as of Tuesday afternoon — the highest its stocks have hit since late August.

Sinking prices appear to have been bolstered by the weekend appearance of X CEO Elon Musk at a Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, where the former president faced an assassination attempt earlier this summer.

When the publicly traded company hit the market in March, it was selling at $66 — then financial filings revealed Trump Media had only earned $4.1 million in revenue in 2023.
