Snarling Trump flies into frenzy as MAGA-defectors huddle to plot their revenge

President Donald Trump tore into three of his most prominent MAGA-turned-critics — Tucker Carlson, Thomas Massie and Marjorie Taylor Greene — in a lengthy Truth Social post, reviving his feud with a breakaway faction openly plotting against him.

The post referenced an early-August gathering at Carlson's Maine lodge, where the former Fox host hosted Massie, Greene and others who reportedly urged him toward a 2028 presidential run. Carlson has vowed to help build a third party and stop backing the GOP.

Trump was unsparing.

"Tucker Carlson just met with Lightweight 'Former' Congressman, Thomas Massie, and Marjorie 'Traitor' Greene, LOSERS ALL!" he wrote, claiming Carlson's audience had "fallen through the floor" and branding him "a very Low I.Q. individual" who "could barely get out of College." Trump said Carlson wants to run for office but "should be required to take a cognitive test."

He then turned to Greene, who resigned her Georgia seat this year after a bitter split with the president, mocking her as "Marjorie Taylor Brown (Green turns to Brown under stress!)" and "a highly neurotic young woman" who flipped from "Ultra Conservative to a Liberal 'Fool'" because he stopped returning her calls. Trump withdrew his endorsement of Greene late last year.

Massie, who lost his primary to a Trump-backed challenger, was dismissed as "a failed politician, and a real JERK" for voting "'NO,' on everything."

"What a team this would be, THREE LOSERS, and a pocketful of change," Trump wrote, before an incongruous sign-off: "PRAISE BE TO ALLAH!"
