A MAGA city council member in Arizona and former Turning Point USA employee has been accused of offering an employee a job in exchange for sex and kidnapping his daughter.
A lawsuit, which was filed by two anonymous plaintiffs — Father John Doe and Minor Jane Doe — filed on Nov. 14 names Jeannette Garcia, a MAGA council member in Avondale, Arizona, of "drunkenly propositioning a male coworker to have sex and, when he rebuffed her, briefly kidnapping his 14-year-old daughter," according to a report from The Phoenix New Times.
Garcia has faced backlash in the past over calling Hollywood star Tom Hanks a "pedo" on X and later said she was trying to use the Spanish word for "fart." The city council reportedly voted to condemn her comment.
And in July, Garcia told Sen. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) to “tell your wife to stay home and watch your kids.”
The allegations in the lawsuit point to a year ago, when John Doe was hired by Turning Point, Charlie Kirk's right-wing political group, to help promote candidates backed by the organization for the 2024 election.
Garcia was also working for the organization at the time and was the direct supervisor for Doe. It's unclear if she is still affiliated with the organization, the outlet reported.
Several Turning Point employees were apparently celebrating Republican election wins at a Goodyear restaurant, and Doe complained that Garcia was drinking heavily at the event.
“As the night progressed, Garcia began making remarks inviting and suggesting her interest in having sex or being intimate with Father Doe, which he repeatedly rebuffed,” according to the lawsuit. “At one point in the evening Garcia propositioned Father Doe, offering him employment with (Turning Point) if he agreed to have sex with her. As Garcia became more aggressive and explicit, presumably due to excessive consumption of alcohol, Father Doe eventually decided he could no longer tolerate Garcia’s harassment and inappropriate conduct and decided to leave the restaurant and go home.”
