One of the victims of a crime spree allegedly carried out by Rep. Lauren Boebert's son left an 11-year-old girl feeling scared, according to the child's mother.
Tyler Boebert was arrested Tuesday on 22 charges in connection with vehicle break-ins and thefts in Rifle, Colorado. KJCT-TV tracked down one of the victims through a police report and asked her about one of the break-ins that shook up her eldest daughter, reported The Daily Beast.
“Maybe I should be more cautious, don’t ever leave my purse in the car again, and yeah, be more cautious,” said Alvarado, whose comments in Spanish were translated by the station. “Be more cautious because I have two kids, an 11-year-old and a 3-year-old girl. The 3-year-old has a condition.”
Alvarado's older daughter discovered the crime after she sent her to bring a purse back from the Kia Sorento.

“She was like, ‘Mom, the car is a mess, everything is everywhere — I don’t know what happened,’” Alvarado said. “She had my purse in her hand but without the wallet. She told me that there was nothing inside of the purse.”
Six victims are involved in the case, ranging in age from 3 to 64 years old, according to the incident summary, and the 18-year-old Boebert was taken into police custody with three other suspects whose names were redacted because they're minors.
The lawmaker's son was charged with four felony counts of criminal possession of identification documents and one felony count of conspiracy to commit a felony, police said, along with multiple misdemeanors, including counts of theft under $300 and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
