A reporter from the Pillow Guy Mike Lindell's streaming network "Lindell TV" asked a question about the 2020 election during Friday's press conference with the White House press corps, sending social media into a tailspin.
The reporter asked, "Is there anymore information on the special prosecutor? So many Americans still have questions about the 2020 election. And speaking of rogue judges, would you consider appointing somebody at DOJ maybe to investigate the judges that allowed for the political persecution of you, your family, and your supporters during the Biden administration?"
"I love you," Trump exclaimed. "Who are you?"
The reporter identified herself as "Cara with Lindell TV."
"Well, that's just a very nice question. It's not a setup, I have no idea who you are, but I appreciate that question."
Trump continued, "All I can say is — we're not here for that — I hope so. I hope they're doing the thing because that election was rigged and stolen and we can't allow that to happen."
Liberal commentator @ChidiNwatu told his 33,000 followers, "It's beyond outrageous that QAnon has a place in the White House briefing room," while @JDLuckenbach wrote, "We are smack dab in the middle of an Idiocracy."
The account of @gobfather_eth, followed by the Krassenstein brothers, wrote, "The my pillow guy has a 'media network' now. And they [sic] White House lets them in. This is the worst timeline."
Filmmaker @jeremynewberger exclaimed, "My Pillow guy strikes again," while VoteBlueAmerica wrote, "Lindell TV is on the WH press room. How far we have fallen."
The account of @Christo12919382 used all caps to tell their 70,000 followers, "LINDELL TV? WTF IS GOING ON???" and Call To Activism wrote, "WTAFFF!!!"
Lindell was recently ordered to pay more than $2 million in damages for defaming former Dominion voting machines executive Eric Coomer. Lindell claimed Coomer "helped rig the 2020 presidential election in favor of then-candidate Joe Biden," calling Coomer a "traitor."
Lindell has said he was "worth $50 million" before the 2020 election and is now deeply in debt after vowing to fight on to prove that the 2020 election was "rigged."
