Donald Trump took a moment to celebrate his lawyer Thursday when he shared a Barstool Sports “article” that heaps praise on attorney Alina Habba — with a parade of photos of her in sexy poses.
The article was short on legal analysis — there aren’t any original sources, and supporting evidence consists mostly of pictures of Habba enjoying what appears to be a very fancy personal life.
There are also compliments such as: “The message you project by hiring Alina Habba as your counsel is, ‘I make wise decisions,’" wrote Jerry Thorton. “I will accept nothing less than the very best.”
The first of 23 images and videos contained in the approximately 750-word story shows Habba leading a press conference outside the New York City civil court, where she is representing Trump in his $250 million fraud trial.

Readers are then treated to Habba popping open champagne with a saber on a golf course, practicing shooting skills at the gun range, drinking cocktails with friends, mimicking a showgirl’s pose at a fundraiser and dancing.
“Should the need ever arise," Thorton concludes, "I'll do whatever it takes to hire this Valkyrie.”
Trump shared the article in a Truth Social message posted 4:20 p.m., about the same time a New York appeals court lifted the gag order imposed on him by Judge Arthur Engoron over bias accusations against his law clerk.
Engoron became enraged when Trump’s attorneys earlier this month once again levied claims against the clerk based on “reports” from Breitbart News that spurred laughter in the courtroom.
"Sometimes I think there's a bit of misogyny in you referring to my female principal law clerk," Engoron said at the time.
Replied Habba, "I assure you that's not the issue.”
