Ana Navarro gets a standing ovation after The View plays superclip of her greatest anti-Trump hits

CNN commentator Ana Navarro dropped in on the ladies at "The View" to sum up the 16 months of Donald Trump both she and the country has endured. Navarro earned a reputation this election as a "sensible" Republican, who refused to support a candidate that she felt was destroying her party. Her frustration with Trump often manifested in shouting matches on CNN with Trump surrogates, who often got caught up in their own hypocrisy.

"We are crazy," Navarro explained when asked what happened this election. "We are surreal, right? We have gone through the looking glass. We are now sitting down with Alice in Wonderland. Think about this, guys. We are in an election where people are boasting about being deplorable or being nasty. That's where we got. You know, we are talking about body parts. We're talking about -- I mean, we're doing mannequin challenges and you know what we're not talking about? We're not talking about policy, mind you."

She further admitted that if Trump is the winner on Tuesday night that she might be doing the mannequin challenge for the next four years. The Clinton campaign posted a video of them doing the latest social media craze.

On the plus side, Navarro says we did make it through. "Give yourselves a group hug, we survived, America. I think this has been such a tough journey for our country, so divisive, so hostile. The things that have been injected into the debate, into the political language this year have been racist, misogynist, sexist, bigoted. It's just been too ugly. We deserve better, and this should never happen again."

The ladies then showed a supercut of some of Navarro's most famous moments on CNN over the last year from Navarro calling out Scottie Nell Hughes to her notable catch-phrases like "50 shades of crazy" and calling Trump a racist in two languages. After airing the video the audience cheered, but Whoopi Goldberg stood up from the head of the table and gave Navarro a standing ovation.

Navarro continued, explaining that she identifies as a Republican and her reasons for opposing Trump were due to her value of faith, family and inclusiveness. She said that those values are now getting lost in today's Republican Party.

"I live in a swing state. I live in a swing state and the damn thing is too close. It's too close to call. It's 50/50. I decided, you know what girl, get yourself together. You can't do symbolism this year," she said, admitting she voted for Hillary Clinton instead of doing a protest vote. "But, more than anything, I voted against Donald Trump."
