Federal prosecutors on Tuesday unveiled charges against a Trump supporter who had attended the two violent rallies that bookended the Trump presidency.

NBC News reports that former Marine Tyler Bradley Dykes has been arrested and charged with a felony count of obstructing, impeding or interfering with police officers, as well several misdemeanor counts.

Video evidence obtained by prosecutors allegedly shows Dykes "stole a riot shield from law enforcement and raised it over his head to establish sole possession of the item."

NBC's report notes that Dykes had previously been charged in the state of Virginia with burning an object with the intent to intimidate while he was marching in the infamous 2017 neo-Nazi march in Charlottesville where participants chanted, "Jews will not replace us!" and "Blood and soil!"

Former President Donald Trump, who revealed on Tuesday that he has received a target letter from special counsel Jack Smith regarding his own actions surrounding the deadly January 6th Capitol riots, drew widespread condemnation six years ago when he said that some of the people who attended the Nazi rally were "very fine people."

Trump has not yet been indicted on any January 6th-related charges, although hundreds of Trump supporters who stormed the Capitol have been arrested, convicted, and sentenced for their role in trying to block the peaceful transition of power.
