A Fox News host on Wednesday responded critically to the star of Amazon's show "Reacher" after the actor spoke out against President Donald Trump — and didn't hold back.
Greg Gutfeld discussed his thoughts about Alan Ritchson, who got heated about the Trump administration during an episode this week of Dax Shepard's "Armchair Expert." Shepard had asked Ritchson if he could let go of the resentment he feels about Trump.
“No, I don’t know, man,” Ritchson replied. “I can let go of the resentment and then what does that do for the world? It allows these predatory f---ers to just continue. Look at the politics that we deal with right now. The White House is in ruins—a f---ing UFC cage on the Lawn. And you just do it. You just f---ing do it and nobody says anything and no consequences!”
Gutfeld slammed Ritchson, calling the star "physically fit but spiritually he's diseased."
"He's not enjoying himself," Gutfeld said. "This is not TDS. TDS is something else. There's something deeper."
Gutfeld was referring to Trump Derangement Syndrome, a term often used by the president and his allies to describe what they see as irrational, excessive, or emotionally driven hostility toward Trump.
"It’s the resentment that is eating him alive, and he's essentially poisoning himself — and no amount of squats and bench presses are going to get rid of that," Gutfeld claimed.
