Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas wrote a dissent after the high court refused to hear a Republican challenge to a Pennsylvania state court decision that extended the deadline to receive mail-in ballots in last November's election -- which once again raised questions about his wife's activism ahead of the Jan. 6 insurrection.
The Supreme Court declined Monday to take up cases challenging the Pennsylvania state court, and Trump and supporters like Ginni Thomas have challenged state laws to claim President Joe Biden's win was illegitimate.
Ginni Thomas had publicly endorsed the "Stop The Steal" rally in Washington, D.C., that turned into a deadly assault on the U.S. Capitol, and her husband wrote a dissent that seems destined to justify attempts by Republican state legislatures to limit mail-in voting in future elections.
"That decision to rewrite the rules seems to have affected too few ballots to change the outcome of any federal election. But that may not be the case in the future," Thomas wrote. "These cases provide us with an ideal opportunity to address just what authority nonlegislative officials have to set election rules, and to do so well before the next election cycle. The refusal to do so is inexplicable."This Clarence Thomas dissent is unhinged even for Clarence Thomas. Standard-issue "just asking questions" voter fraud truthering, but laundered using legalese and published by an author with "Justice" in front of their name. https://t.co/7vI74ObIgm pic.twitter.com/JlkpzaDnMq

The dissent set off alarm bells for many social media users.
After his wife Ginni endorsed the January 6th insurrection, and sent her “LOVE" to domestic terrorists, why is Justice Thomas still sitting on the Supreme Court?

For the sake of the integrity of the highest court in the United States of America, Justice Thomas must resign. Ginni Thomas must be investigated for her role in the January 6 insurrection. He and his wife are clearly radicalized. #JusticeThomasResign #ResignThomas

Agree - yet I'm concerned that #SCOTUS Justice Thomas dissented - we will have to learn more about the role his wife Gini Thomas played in raising money for Trump's deadly #Jan6 “Insurrection Day"

Her activity around this is what she apologized for to the email list of his former clerks. She is quite close with True the Vote's Engelbrecht and has been for years. Thomas has stated that he and Ginni are of one mind. So yes, her influence is strong on this.

Justice Ginni Thomas wants to Stop the Steal and storm the Capitol

Perhaps what's required is a look see into the relationship between Donald Trump, Ginni Thomas, and how it affected Clarence Thomas' SCOTUS votes.

If he can't rein it in, Congress should consider stripping jurisdiction and creating a separate court for election law.
Maybe it's impolite, but Thomas is just full of bullshit here. His marriage to conspiracist and Trump loyalty-enforcer Ginni Thomas is not helping. At all.

Has anyone found examples of voter fraud via mail in ballots that weren't Republicans trying to cheat? So thomas' opinion is just that and not based on fact. Investigate Ginni Thomas and expand the court.
