Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) is sponsoring a bill that would award the Congressional Gold Medal to Kyle Rittenhouse, who killed two people in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Greene introduced HR6070 on Tuesday "[t]o award a Congressional Gold Medal to Kyle H. Rittenhouse, who protected the community of Kenosha, Wisconsin, during a Black Lives Matter (BLM) riot on August 25, 2020."

An attorney for Kyle Rittenhouse publicly cautioned his client to "change his name" instead of having an ongoing presence on television or in politics.

During an interview on Fox News, defense attorney Mark Richards was asked about several Republican members of Congress -- including Reps. Matt Gaetz (FL) and Madison Cawthorn (NC) -- who have offered internships to Rittenhouse.

Police were hunting a convicted felon who fled Atlanta's international airport after his gun accidentally discharged during a security search and sparked panic.

The incident on Saturday sent dozens of passengers scurrying for cover, and resulted in three injuries, none of which were caused by the discharge.

The first interview off of his acquittal, Kyle Rittenhouse sat down with Fox News host Tucker Carlson where he explained that he isn't a racist.

The Daily Beast got an advanced video of the interview set to air Monday night. According to the excerpt, Rittenhouse said that he absolutely supports Black Lives Matter and that the people he killed had nothing to do with race.

It has only been a few days since Kyle Rittenhouse was acquitted by a Wisconsin jury. Those angry about the verdict took to the streets and have continued to stage protests across the country.

Along with one of those protests in Chicago came large guns. A video shows two men dressed in all black and tactical gear carrying long guns walking beside and leading the protesters' march in the streets. Instead of being foes, these gunmen were there to protect the protesters from people like Rittenhouse being in a position to shoot them again.

While OJ Simpson was acquitted of killing his ex-wife and her boyfriend, the families of the two victims sued Simpson for the slaying. The requirements necessary for a civil case that would hold Kyle Rittenhouse accountable are much lower than a criminal murder trial.

Rittenhouse has accepted donations from many different sources, and now that he has been acquitted, GoFundMe has agreed to put his legal defense fund back on the site. That could help provide the millions necessary to pay to the families of his victims.

Former FBI official Frank Figliuzzi tweeted about an analysis of the tweets from the trial of Kyle Rittenhouse came largely from outside of the United States.

Figliuzzi said that the researchers took a sample of 32,315 pro-Rittenhouse hashtag tweets on Nov 19-20. The data showed 29,609 tweets came from Twitter accounts that disabled geolocation. "Of those, 17,701 were listed as "foreign", but a deep scrub revealed most of those were in Russia, China, and the EU," he said.

On one of the busiest travel days of the year with Thanksgiving approaching, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) spent her Sunday morning tweet-storming at her followers that a Democratic-led "race war" is coming and conservatives need to hang onto their guns and "Protect yourself with the full armor of God."

According to the Republican lawmaker, "The radical Marxists in this country" by which she means Democrats, are coming for everyone's guns following the Kyle Rittenhouse acquittal with Taylor Greene adding, "They will stay on their lying message constantly about 'angry white men are a threat to black lives.'"

During a panel discussion on MSNBC's "The Sunday Show," former Republican adviser Tara Setmayer went on an extended rant about Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-NC) after he applauded the not guilty verdict for Kyle Rittenhouse and then boasted to his followers they should "be armed, be dangerous."

Asked about his comments by host Jonathan Capehart, Setmayer went off on the party she used to work for.

In an interview with CNN on Friday night, the attorney who successfully defended Kyle Rittenhouse in court after he shot and killed two Black Lives Matter protesters in Kenosha last summer, ripped into the teen's previous attorney for trying to use him as a cash cow.

Speaking with host Chris Cuomo, attorney Mark Richards at one point noted that he didn't agree with America's gun laws -- including a quirk in Wisconsin which allowed his client to own the weapon used in the shooting -- telling the CNN host, "To me – and I know people will go nuts when I say this – but there's too many guns in our society. And that might seem like a hollow statement coming from me."

Saturday afternoon, the editorial board of the Wisconsin State Journal released a scathing editorial calling the not guilty verdicts in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial "chilling" and asserting that he should have been punished after killing two Black Lives Matter protesters.

Leaving little doubt about how the board viewed the outcome, they titled their piece: "Kyle Rittenhouse verdict sends a chilling message to Wisconsin and the rest of the country."

Appearing on MSNBC's "The Cross Connection" on Saturday morning, trial attorney Katie Phang predicted the defendants in the killing of Ahmaud Arbery will be found guilty and then will face federal charges.

After host Tiffany Cross ran footage of Travis McMichael unable to make the case for himself for self-defense, Phang told the host that the fate of the defendants is sealed after the testimony.
