A man accused of helping the former president attempt to overturn the 2020 election wants a bond deal so he can hit the campaign trail for Donald Trump in 2024, according to a new report.
Former Black Voices for Trump head Harrison Floyd asked a Fulton County judge Tuesday to ease bond conditions that prevent him from contacting his co-defendant in the Georgia election racketeering case, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.
Floyd also wants permission to post about Trump on social media, according to the report.
The Journal-Constitution notes Floyd lost the latter privilege when he tagged Jenna Ellis, a former Trump attorney who pleaded not guilty in the same case last year, in a post she found intimidating.
Judge Scott McAfee told Floyd he was unwilling to allow contact between him and the former president but was willing to consider relaxing restrictions on online posts, according to the report.
