The View erupts after Joy Behar says Trump looked like he 'pooped his pants' in North Carolina

At the top of "The View," Monday, the co-hosts addressed the ongoing battle involving former President Donald Trump and his pants during a speech to the North Carolina Republican Party on Saturday. While Trump's zipper was clearly visible at points throughout the speech, it didn't stop Twitter from breaking into hysterics over the former leader's ill-fitting trousers.

Sunny Hostin noted that if Trump is a billionaire he should probably have a better tailor.

Presidential historian calls 'baloney' on Joe Manchin claim filibuster stance is about 'protecting the Senate'

Presidential historian Douglas Brinkley literally called "baloney" on Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) for his excuse for supporting the filibuster.

Manchin has drawn criticism from his own party, civil rights leaders, and historians with knowledge of the last centuries of Senate function. Everyone, other than his Republican allies, has spoken out against Manchin's confused understanding of the process. Manchin, however, isn't the only Democrat parroting right-wing talking points on the filibuster crafted from historic lies. Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) has also bought into the fake history.

'Out of touch' Joe attacked after op-ed refusing voting rights: Why elect Biden if Manchin runs the country?

Sen. Joe Manchin published another editorial tearing down HR 4: The John Lewis Voting Rights Act that would protect Americans from GOP laws that would prevent them from voting. The Republicans have worked on such bills because they lost the presidency and they're fearful that they'll never be able to win a national election again on a platform of their far-right policies.

Manchin has also made it clear that he refuses to get rid of or change the filibuster, parroting false GOP talking points that it somehow stops bipartisanship. In reality, there hasn't been a filibuster in four years. What is being done is the threat of a filibuster that is stopping all legislative business. If Manchin actually supported the filibuster he would support a genuine filibuster. Instead, he's playing politics and being coy with language.
