A young man's future could be forever changed after felony charges were levied against him in the state of Colorado on Tuesday evening.

Americans across the nation took a moment to reflect on the challenges facing Rep. Lauren Boebert's son, Tyler Boebert, arrested on four counts of criminal possession of a financial device, four counts of criminal possession of identification documents and a count of conspiracy to commit a felony.

"Please," wrote comedian Jay Black. "Give Lauren Boebert’s family the same decency and respect in this time of crisis as she and the rest of the Republicans have given Hunter Biden."

The internet obliged, first leaping on an X post from Boebert bemoaning "the Biden Crime Family," which one X user argued "aged like a bowl of milk on a Death Valley trailer roof."

This was only the beginning.

"Will Republicans now demand Lauren Boebert be impeached?" Ed Krassenstein wanted to know. "Will they support the release of her son’s private laptop publicly?"

Seth Asher had a different question for Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA): "Is Marjorie going to impeach Biden over Tyler Boebert’s crimes?"

"Sending thoughts and prayers for the Boebert family," @7Veritas4 wrote, "to prevail over their growing crime wave."

Dr. David A. Lustig satirized the campaign message Boebert might send constituents in the new district she hopes to claim this year.

"Boebert: Good news, Colorado! I’m switching districts, so a whole new batch of lucky voters will get to enjoy electing me!" Lustig wrote. "I’ll be bringing my entire hillbilly clan along, though, so be sure to put your car in the garage at night, and lock your house up REAL GOOD!!!"

"Boebert isn’t going to win the Republican Party primary March 5, is she?" asked Claude Taylor.
