Unable to set politics aside for the Christmas holiday, self-avowed Christian Marjorie Taylor Greene felt compelled to share a video of her Christmas tree which set off a wave of criticism because of the wrapping paper on some packages that she appears to be proud of.
The video, shared on X, by the Georgia Republican was accompanied by her boast, "I love my Impeach Biden wrapping paper! Merry Christmas Eve!"

That post set off a deluge of criticism, with one critic of the Georgia lawmaker pointing out, "What a terrible thing to do."
A more common criticism was her use of the celebration of the birth of Christ to score points with her far-right fans.
Mikal wrote, "My family went around & we all read our favorite Bible passages & discussed what they mean to us. We committed to ways we could embody the lesson from the passage to be better Christians. This is what Christmas is about, to celebrate the birth of Jesus. You play a Christian on social media & thought this would play so well but just like everything you do, you failed. No one cares about your theatrics."
"Very Christian of you," caringguy1957 wrote which was echoed by JoJoFGromJerz adding, "Keeping the Christ in Christmas I see. You’re so f’ng gross, Space Laser."
Jack Grodeska accused, "Pretty blasphemous for Christmas wrapping paper."
"Man, you can't even put aside your Biden obsession for Christmas," pointed out Faketriots Watch.
Dianne Callahan got right to the point by writing: "Is this what the people in Rome, Georgia voted for, how disgusting. The MAGA Republican party is so full of hate, lies, and ridicule. You cloak yourself in Christianity but I never see or hear one positive thing you do to help people. What a terrible thing to do, especially on Christmas Eve. I feel so sorry for your children. What an embarrassment you are."
'You're an awful christian. Is this what you spend your time on. As much as I hate Trump, even I wouldn't wrap my presents with anti-Trump rhetoric," added Evie.
Marque suggested, "Get a life and grow up."
