Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene backtracked on her support for Speaker Mike Johnson Friday — just three days after she professed herself “sick of the chaos” and vowed not to oust her House leader, according to a new report.

The Georgia Republican told the Messenger she would be willing to file a vacate motion against the beleaguered House speaker if it meant killing a bipartisan deal to fund Ukraine aid and border security.

"That is a failing, losing strategy and I will never support it,” Greene reportedly said. “I'll fight it as much as possible. Even if I have to go so far to vacate the chair, and there's others that agree with me."

Greene’s comment contrasts starkly with her stated position on Tuesday against House Freedom Caucus leader Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) after he made the exact same threat.

A motion to vacate Johnson (R-LA) would be, Greene said, "the dumbest thing that could happen.”

At the time, she argued such a move would serve more as divisive political drama at a time when House Republicans need to band together.

“We haven’t passed any more appropriation bills since they threw out Kevin McCarthy," Greene said. "I came here to be serious about solving problems, not to produce clickbait.”

The following day, Greene arrived in the House of Representatives with large, blurred photos of Hunter Biden nude.
