Marjorie Taylor Greene struggles to ignore Vermin Supreme fans photobombing her interview

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) gave an interview to Steve Bannon on his "War Room" show live in New Hampshire on Tuesday, as people rushed to the polls to decide the Republican presidential primary — but as she did so, a nearby group of fans of the perennial Democratic candidate Vermin Supreme decided to have a little fun.

As Greene talked, they held up a unicorn mask to the camera, having it pull faces and at one point brushing its teeth.

Greene, for her part, did her best to ignore the spectacle behind her as she talked up the importance of getting out to vote for former President Donald Trump and demanding House Republicans hold the line against funding the government — but ultimately couldn't stop herself from responding to the provocation.

"The voters across the country gave Republicans the majority for a reason because they are sick and tired of Democrat policies and while we bragged about the power of the purse, it's time for us to use it," said Greene, amid all of the chaos behind her. "We've already seen three C.R.s pass this Congress. That's Nancy Pelosi's budget. That is the same budget that passes the open border policies, funds the war in Ukraine, funds the Green New Deal, DEI, and all the garbage that people are sick and tired of."

"But let me point this out, Steve, because this is really important for people to realize that Supreme Court decision that was made has now put the federal government at war with the state of Texas," she said. "And if [Speaker] Mike Johnson moves forward, funding another clean C.R. without fighting for our border security without fighting for H.R. 2, then you are going to see a serious revolt among Republicans because our voters are not going to stand for this. Neither am I and neither are many House Republicans."

"But what's even more important to understand is that establishment Washington, the neocons, you know, the same people supporting Nikki Haley, demanding that she be president and demanding that voters accept her as a serious candidate even though she's just a buffoon just like the same guy behind me," she said.
