Vice President Mike Pence was the target of many Capitol attackers on Jan. 6. They brought and built a platform to hang him and chanted their demands from the lawn: "Hang Mike Pence! Hang Mike Pence!"

It was revealed during the impeachment hearing Wednesday evening that the attackers were within 60 steps of Pence, who was rushed out of the Senate chamber to "an undisclosed location" in the Capitol.

Pence is currently bouncing from home to home and taking his family on vacation.

The reason for it might be because Pence "is in fear for his life."

As the impeachment team outlined the case, more and more viewers asked why Pence isn't speaking out about the dangers he faced. Pence isn't telling his story or expressing what he's dealing with out of office now that former President Donald Trump has targeted him.

As the managers explained, the attackers had a man with a bullhorn reading Trump's tweets to the crowd in real-time. It was a factoid that viewers called "damning" because Trump was aware that Pence had been taken away by Secret Service agents, according to Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL). Trump still didn't ask them to stop.
