It was the job interview question nobody expects: are you a traitor?

But Shaye Moss testified Tuesday in her defamation trial against Rudy Giuliani it was one she faced in a Chick-fil-A restaurant months after the November, 2020, election that swept her life into national news, according to a new report.

"I was so shocked, I was so embarrassed,” Moss said in the Washington D.C. civil courtroom, according to ABC News. “I just had to leave.”

Moss is one of two Georgia poll workers suing Giuliani for up to $43 million over his claims that they passed around fake votes on a USB drive like drug dealers. She later clarified it was a ginger mint.

The court has already found Giuliani liable for fraud, but that didn’t stop the 79-year-old from doubling down on his accusations Monday night outside the D.C. courtroom.

Moss said Tuesday those accusations still haunted her when she arrived “dressed up” at the Chick-fil-A in mid-2021 for an interview with her notebook and her resume, according to ABC News.

"I had made up my mind that, oh well, I'll have to start at the bottom," Moss testified. "I can work my way up here."

But after an otherwise successful exchange, Moss’ interviewer showed the former poll worker an online article on his laptop and demanded to know, “Is this you? Is this true?"

At the top of the story was a picture of Moss’ face with a single word plastered across it: “Traitor.”
