Ex-Ambassador McFaul speculates on the pee tape: ‘Everything that happens at the Ritz-Carlton goes to the Kremlin’
"Now people say on this show a few moments ago, it was all about money. Where are you on that? host Chris Matthews asked Ambassador Michael McFaul.
"What is Trump's motive for siding with Putin?" he asked.
"I don't know," McFaul admitted. "I want to be clear, there's lots of circumstantial evidence about the money they took in 2008 and maybe he's beholden -- I don't want to connect those dots until I know the evidence, and that's why we need Mr. Mueller to finish his job."
There are also reports Trump is compromised by damning material.
In the salacious Steele Dossier, former British spy Christopher Steele reported that Trump could be subject to blackmail.
"Trump's personal obsessions and sexual perversion in order to obtain suitable 'kompromat' (compromising material) on him," Steele wrote.
"According to Source D, where s/he had been present, Trump's (perverted) conduct in Moscow included hiring the presidential suite of the Ritz Carlton Hotel, where he knew President and Mrs. Obama (who he hated) had stayed on one of their official trips to Russia, and defiling the bed where they had slept by employing a number of prostitutes to perform a 'golden showers' (urination) show in front of him," Steele explained.

"Do you think it's kompromat, the dossier and the hotel room?" Wallace asked.
"I honestly don't know," McFaul replied. "I do know that that's the way Putin does his business. He gives money to people for free, and then creates leverage. And he gathers kompromat on all kinds of people, in Russia, in other countries."
"If you stay at the Ritz-Carlton, everything that happens in the Ritz-Carlton goes to the Kremlin," McFaul said. "That I know for sure."
Steele, who ran the Moscow desk for Britains MI6, also believed that Putin would have the tapes.
"The hotel was known to be under FSB control with microphones and concealed cameras in all the mail rooms to record anything they wanted to," Steele wrote in his dossier.
