Prosecutors allowing more time for Matt Gaetz's pal to tell all is his biggest problem: legal expert

Speaking to MSNBCs Ari Melber on Tuesday, the Florida state attorney for Palm Beach County explained that it's clear Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) continues to be in trouble.

David Aronberg explained that the judge in tax collector Joel Greenberg's case approved a motion for more time for him to continue working with federal investigators. The fact that the motion was approved isn't the problem, Aronberg explained. It's that the prosecutors in the case didn't object to it.

Washington Post journalists Bob Woodward and Robert Costa reported that Milley spoke with his Chinese counterpart to ease tensions and avoid possible military conflict over mistaken intelligence reports about U.S. aggression, and they told MSNBC's "Morning Joe" that GOP senators were wrong to suggest other administration officials were kept out of the loop.

MSNBC's Claire McCaskill burns down Trump's 'nutjob' lawyer John Eastman: 'You don't belong in the law, buddy'

MSNBC's Claire McCaskill unloaded on Federalist Society lawyer John Eastman for crafting a spurious legal argument aimed at overturning a lawful election.

Eastman incorrectly told Mike Pence on Jan. 5 that the vice president had the constitutional authority to block the certification of Joe Biden's election, and he sent Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) a six-point memo outlining the process for Pence to reject electors from seven states to keep Donald Trump in power -- but both men declined to carry out the scheme.
